Myer is Australia’s largest department store group with 68 stores across the country. Their offer includes fashion products for women, men and children but also homeware, fragrances and cosmetics. We have been appointed as their European agent in 2006. At that time their international brands offer was rather limited and our mission was to scout for new contemporary European brands.
Buying Strategy, Fashion Sourcing, Merchandising
TPG (US investing fund) came on board they undertook a total refurbishment of the Melbourne flagship store. They had a clear strategy to build up an international designer offer in their key stores.
The base of our partnership was to assist them in building the relationship with the brands, negociating budgets and locations, which was not easy with the strong domestic competition.
Thanks to our extensive buying experience and our strong brands contacts, we have been able to sell the “new” Myer and convince prestigious and exclusive brands that they could partner on a long run. Myer are currently going through major remodeling plans and they are giving more space to international brands with innovative retail concepts.

Marketing and PR Coordination, Logistic and Administration
Besides the sourcing , negociating and merchandising aspects, we bring our contribution by coordinating any PR project as well as special events (trunk shows, collection launch…). We organize and attend all writing and walk-through appointments during market and we manage logistics and order process.
